Buckhannon Fire Department Accepting Donations through August 20th for Victims of Kentucky Floods

BUCKHANNON - As previously reported, the Buckhannon Fire Department has been accepting donations in collaboration with the Belfry Volunteer Fire Department in Belfry, Kentucky to help provide desperately needed items for those who were devastated by the recent flooding in Kentucky.


The final day to drop off donations in Bay 6 of the Department will be Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Per the Buckhannon Fire Department:


"As of right now, we are being told that laundry detergent and nonperishable food items are of the biggest need. A big thank you to everyone that has already helped in some way, we have a great community full of good-hearted folks."


The Buckhannon Fire Department is located at 22 S. Florida Street in Buckhannon.
