This week, it's a another DOUBLE-SHOT exclusive straight out of the Vintage Buckhannon Vault:
Photo 1:
1922 BHS Football Team
The first is an extremely rare image depicting the 1922 Buckhannon High School Football team under Coach John Rohrbough. Photo was taken in front of the old high school shortly before construction of the gymnasium.
Photo 2:
Buckhannon High School - College Avenue, Buckhannon
The second is a rare image depicting Buckhannon High School in 1919. The first high school was built on East Main Street in 1881 and remained there until the construction of the College Avenue facility in 1909. Academy Elementary School is now located where this building once stood.
